I contacted Carson Roofing and Building because I had multiple roof leaks at my chimney flashings and 2 valleys, all of which emerging in the recent storms and heavy rain. I called many companies to pursue a solution, but the person who stood out the most was Gary. Whilst I am no expert on roofs, I just felt Gary was the man with the knowledge and honesty for the job. I can say that I did not regret my decision. I received a detailed quote for the job, fully detailing the issues and the work required to solve them, all at a fixed price. Gary started the job when he said he would, and communicated timeously throughout. There were a couple of days when he couldn't get to site as promptly as he wanted (mostly due to the weather) but he always let me know his intentions, which was very much appreciated. Tradesmen aren't known for their communication skills!! The job is now finished and I am pleased with Gary's workmanship, all of which evidenced by the pictures he took during the work...

Gary came to provide a quote for roof repairs. He was polite and courteous and explained next steps. He emailed a quote within 2 days. I phoned to accept the quote and Gary said he would carry out the work in the next 2-3 days. Once up on the roof to replace a tile Gary noticed another tile further over had slipped too so he sorted that too. All repairs were explained fully to me. Additional work was carried out within the original quote. I was really impressed with all aspects of this work, from start to finish. I would highly recommend Carson Roofing and Building Services.
